His spiritual feat of adopting Orthodoxy predetermined the overall basis of the culture, civilization and human values that unite the peoples of Russia, Ukraine and Belarus.”…
Russia’s role, in Putin’s words, is to “prevent movement backward and downward, into chaotic darkness and a return to a primitive state.”…The USA and the Western governments rejected the bible and its values. They consciously accepted ungodly popular opinions over godly opinions. The moral values that kept the society sane which were mostly derived from the bible by their ancestors were discarded on the altars of liberalism, polical correctness and “we are free to do what we like with our bodies”. I believe that we are yet to see more. I forsee in the US and WEST a generation that will demand for the legal liberty for fathers to marry their daughters, brothers and sisters of the same blood parents demanding the license to marry one another, people requesting to marry dogs, horses and other animals as official legal spouses… A viable culture needs a moral compass that goes deeper than passing political expediency and the secularistic tenet “do what you will”…
Judao-Christian morality is the greatest underpinning for a just and moral society. The reality is that in his classic, Republic, Plato, the greatest of Greek philosophers, had already condemned democracy as Mobocracy—the worst of all political systems. Plato proposed that the ideal republic should be ruled by philosopher-kings. His disciple, Aristotle, trained Alexander-the-Great to be a philosopher-king, who turned out to be one of the most ruthless conquerors in history. ..

Russia and Putin. Who was arming and supporting ISIS/ISIL/NUSRA et al to kill Christians in Syria? The United States, Saudis, UK and a favorite country of evangelicals. Who supported the Muslim Brotherhood is persecuting Christians? The Obama USA. Putin and Russia is more Christian than the United States now.Putin also backed Christians in the Balkans being bombed by NATO…

Back in February 2012, the Russian church described to Vladimir Putin the horrific treatment Christians are experiencing around the world, especially under Islam.The head of External Church Relations, Metropolitan Illarion, said that every five minutes one Christian was dying for his or her faith in some part of the world, specifying that he was talking about such countries as Iraq, Egypt, Pakistan and India. The cleric asked Putin to make the protection of Christians one of the foreign policy directions in future…The only antidote to jihad could be counter-jihad…
Great respect for President Putin!All those years when Russia was condemned by the U.S. for being a Godless country! And now it is the West (esp the U.S.A.) that has dissociated itself from religious references to fully embrace mindless consumerism. It’s amazing how things have changed.Putin’s comment that the collapse of USSR was a tragedy was not referring to collapse of communism, but collapse of the union. He is not a communist, he is opposed by communists. He is a center-right nationalist and if that qualifies for ex-communication from the Body of Christ, he’s going out with millions of others around the world…
Historically, Russia has seen herself, and her empire as guardian of the Orthodox faithful against the various threats of Islamism and heretical faith.It is an historical fact that Eastern Orthodoxy founded the original, ancient Christian Church (think Greek, Ethiopian, Armenian, etc). The values Putin espouses are actual Christian understandings with modern versions of the faith being innovative. Christ cannot be defeated and his servant Putin has welcomed Christ and His church…

Didn’t happen….Remember when they said that invading Afghanistan would defeat terrorism, even though the 9/11 hijackers were Saudi? It didn’t. …Remember when they said that Saddam had weapons of mass destruction, so we needed to invade Iraq again?
